Landscape Forms has relaunched SHUFFLE, a modular smart-pole system designed to consolidate Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, two-way communications and electric-vehicle charging into a single vertical structure. The company positions the product as a response to public spaces that have accumulated separate poles and devices for lighting, security, connectivity and other services.
According to Landscape Forms, municipalities, campuses and commercial developments are adding single-purpose sensors, cameras, lighting and connectivity infrastructure as customer expectations rise. At the same time, space is at a premium, creating demand for integrated infrastructure that can expand site functions without adding visual clutter or additional cost. SHUFFLE is intended to meet that demand by combining advanced capabilities in one adaptable system.
Modular components and configuration
The system stacks modular components into a vertical pole that the company says is easy to activate and install. Its modularity is intended to support customization and future adaptability, while the integrated design aims to bring modern aesthetics and efficiency to busy, multi-use environments. Landscape Forms has also introduced a build feature on its website to simplify configuration. Clients can specify preferred camera and technology brands and select among options within each category.
New feature updates include plug-and-play options: a 360-degree area light, decorative light ring, 180-degree area light, quad-view and 180-degree cameras, motion sensors, and loudspeaker and intercom modules. These options broaden the system's potential configurations while keeping the pole as a single platform for multiple site requirements.
Designed for varied public environments
SHUFFLE's modular design is intended for both specialized environments and general public spaces. Landscape Forms lists university and business campuses, airports and commuting hubs, shopping malls and tourist areas, concert halls, city parks, sports venues and hospitals among the settings where the system may be used. In those locations, the combination of multi-use adaptability and communication features is positioned as a convenient choice for site managers balancing a range of requirements.
Shannon Lee, Business Development Manager for Smart Poles at Schréder, said SHUFFLE is the solution site designers have been waiting for. Lee said the system was designed to fit busy public spaces with product and feature sets that can be updated as a site's needs evolve. According to Lee, safety and connectivity are integrated into outdoor spaces without dominating them, making the system accessible and user friendly.
Jordan Agustin, President of Lighting at Landscape Forms, said SHUFFLE represents the kind of thinking the industry needs, with technology and design working together to make outdoor spaces safer and smarter without compromising aesthetics. Agustin said the new features and capabilities integrated into the streamlined design enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor space while advancing the company's mission of connecting people to the outdoors and to each other.
