  • The Bedfordshire packaging distributor adopts its European parent’s name and offers a free planning tool for peak-season packing costs.
  • Rajapack UK has rebranded as RAJA UK to align with the RAJA Group’s European identity, while introducing a free tool that estimates peak-season packing costs. The company says customers will keep the same people, product range and next-day service.

Packaging distributor Rajapack UK has changed its name to RAJA UK, aligning the UK business with the RAJA Group’s brand across Europe. The Bedfordshire-based supplier, which has served UK businesses since 1998, says it supplies more than 43,000 companies in the UK.

RAJA Group was founded in France in 1954 by Rachel Marcovici and Janine Rocher, whose first names gave the company its name. The group now serves 19 European countries, and the UK rebrand is intended to give customers one recognisable brand across those markets.

Tom Rodda, managing director of RAJA UK, said the name had changed but the elements customers rely on had not: the same people, the same product range and the same next-day service. With peak trading only weeks away, he said the company had also made planning easier through a free cost-estimation tool.

The Prepare for Peak tool is being offered alongside the rebrand. It helps businesses estimate what peak will cost their packing operation, and what they could save, ahead of Black Friday on 27 November. Users select their industry to see how far orders typically rise at peak, based on benchmarks combining Office for National Statistics retail data with RAJA order data from 2023 to 2025. They then enter their own figures, such as parcels handled per day and the number of people packing.

RAJA UK says the tool provides an illustrative estimate rather than a quote.
